Pavilion ready for spring with Eddi Reader and Country Music Hooley
It has been a busy first week for the High Life Highland (HLH) team as they have settled into their management and operational role at the historic Pavilion in Strathpeffer.
Lisa MacDonald, High Life Highland’s Facility Manager said
“Our first big event will be welcoming well-known Scottish artist and former Fairground Attraction lead-singer Eddi Reader to the Pavilion on 15th April as part of her latest tour. We have been in touch with Regular Music to confirm details and reassure them that the venue is ready and keen to welcome them as planned.”
Lisa went on to explain, “The extremely popular ‘Hooley in the Highlands’ country music event is our next large scale event. And although it takes place in May, we have already met with the promoters North Highland Events and the Black Isle Country Music Club to discuss event details and again offer reassurances that their popular event will go ahead for this year, as well as confirming the ‘Hooley’ for 2018.”
Speaking following the meeting, North Highland Events Director Liam Christie said, “I am delighted with the enthusiasm shown about our event and with the reassurance from HLH that the Hooley in the Highlands will be returning to Strathpeffer Pavilion for its fourth year in May as planned; and it’s terrific that High Life Highland has been able to accept our booking for June 2018.”
“Our one day country music festival has now become one of the biggest May Bank holiday events in the north of Scotland welcoming fans from all across the UK and beyond.”
Liam Christie continued, “It was a relief to have such positive discussions with the HLH team as we have already booked a number of big country artists including Johnny Brady and Band from Ireland who will headline the event in the evening and Jacob Carter – brother of the massively popular Nathan Carter – who we can guarantee will be rocking the Pavilion in the afternoon.”
“The last three years have seen the ‘Hooley’ at the Pavilion sell out to capacity and we have no doubt that this year’s event will be any different. We still have a limited number of tickets available and if anyone is interested they should get in touch directly with the HLH team at the Pavilion for further details.”
The North Highland Events Promoted concluded, “I left the meeting with High Life Highland feeling very positive about this year’s event and I look forward to working with Lisa and the team to make the 2017 Hooley our biggest and best event yet.”
In the meantime, if customers’ existing or new, have any queries or wish details on purchasing tickets for any of the above events then please call the Pavilion on 01997 420124 or email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
